Elliot Bibby is the proprietor of Walton’s Bar & Grill – a young and gifted chef, born in Cumbria and lives in Kendal, who has cut his teeth at establishments across the region including The Greenhouse Restaurant, the Old Stamp House and the Highwayman, from high-end fine dining to classic English pubs, pop-up street food and even working as a brewer.
In case you’re wondering – Walton is the surname of Elliot’s grandparents, Pat and George.
Elliot comes from a family of wonderful cooks – none of them chefs by trade, but through the generations, can be credited for the love of food that inspires him to this day.
This family tradition, of preparing and sharing classic British food, with a hefty nod or two to the food that has excited us on our travels, has led to the creation of Walton’s.
